Japan's Earthquake and Tsunami Disasters

Hey guys as some of you may or may not know already, there has been a recent series of earthquakes and huge tsunamis devastating the northeastern part of Japan. It has been said that the earthquakes have reached a 8.8 magnitude (That is insane!!); the largest recorded earthquake in the history of Japan. The earthquakes and tsunamis has been violently ripping out small cities, roads and highways, tall buildings and sweeping away cars and ships. I felt this is a serious issue to address and I am in complete shock by this. Not only does this affect this country economically and it's ability to prosper but also the anime and manga community has been put to a halt. My prayers and deepest condolences goes out to the families of the thousands' deceased and those who are injured during this horrific event.

There has been places where tsunamis has hit other than Japan like for example Hawaii and parts of the U.S. but very minimal damage has been to done those parts compared to Japan. I am thinking of donating or helping out in any way that I humanly can. I'm also hoping that those of you out there can help contribute for the relief in Japan by donating to a charity as well. I sincerely hope everything will go well in Japan and they will recover soon knowing they are well equipped and prepared for these kinds of situations.

I have here a brief list of anime/manga in my personal opinion, worth watching and noting to anyone who is interested. This list is just a personal preference of anime that I think are the best or they top others in their genre. I'm posting this in no particular order because every anime/manga has their differences, strengths and weaknesses as viewed by others. I know that people may have a different opinions on my taste of anime/manga but it all comes down to preferences. Now moving on to the list, here is a total of 25. I'm back! Wooo...

Well hello there! It has been a while since my first post and now I have finally decided to start it up again, in a very VERY long time. It has been what, like about 9 long months since my last post? haha. The only reason I didn't post anything was I couldn't get into the habit of posting on my blog. As you may or may not have seen the new title dawned upon you "The Otaku Revolution".

The reason why I chose this title is not because I wanted to name myself just anything random, but I found it rather suited for me hehe. The reason I chose this was I am a person with high interests in Japanese culture. The word "Otaku" comes from the Japanese term used to refer to people with obsessive interests, particularly anime, manga, or video games. And as for "Revolution", I think that I have what it takes to change the face of anime/manga and maybe influence certain people to become associated with this culture. I also like to change things around or mix things up a little bit from what people traditionally do with anime/manga. So I do indeed really describe myself as an Otaku and will be reviewing and reporting everything and anything related in future posts! haha. These are the reasons I changed my title from now on.

But I'm not just limited to anime and manga, I'll be including other various other things that is going on in my life. I will definitely do my best to keep posting from now on every now and then or just whenever I have something worth posting! Keeping this habit will be a challenge but I can take this head on.
